Fluid in rear end 87 ezgo
What kind of fluid do I need to put in my gear box /rear end. Not to sure if that is what you would call it. The box that the electric motor connects to. It is an 87 ezgo electric when I removed the fill cap it looks like there is grease in it

Re: Fluid in rear end 87 ezgo
Personally on those older carts I prefer to use 80/90 gear oil. I believe the original oil was straight 30 weight.

Re: Fluid in rear end 87 ezgo
How much gear lube do I use. I see that there is a fill plug on the side. Do I just fill it up to the bottom of the hole? When gear oil is old does it act like grease?
