01 pds No Go

Hello guys i got a 01 pds cart i just replaced my controller cuz my previous one stared smoking after a small run around the neighborhood. I figured my controller fried? So i install a new one and i start to smoke again! So i call Scotty and he tells me to do a continuity test and i have continiuity from a1 to a2 but no continuity from f to f. Does that mean my motors fried?

that's exactly what it means. Likely you have one or both sides of the field shorting to ground.
