Yamaha G2E solid state conversion
I have a Yamaha G2E electric cart that converting from resistor coil to solid state. I was thinkin about goin with an Ezgo system because I have a 275 amp Curtis controller already. I was wondering if that would be my best option to go with. Also if I do go with this system, I was wondering what the best way is to mount the PB-6 throttle box to the accelerator linkage. I have an Ezgo marathon with this system. It has a ball n socket type hookup to the throttle box, but my yamaha isn't the same way. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Yamaha G2E solid state conversion
So the Curtis controller and PB-6 box will work with the stock motor and reverse switch? The reason I was thinkin about goin in this direction is because I converted my Ezgo marathon from resistor coil to solid state and I am very familiar with this setup. I'm still tryin to figure out how I can hook up the PB-6 box to the pedal linkage.

Re: Yamaha G2E solid state conversion
Email me some pics of your current throttle set up I may be able to help. I've built conversion systems for both CC and Ezgo, maybe I should look at a kit for the Yamaha also?
