Post Larsen 2007 electric golf cart

I had my 6 - 8v batteries replaced on my street legal cart. The right turn signal was repaired (not a bulb) and now all my accessories, headlights, brake lights, horn (soft muffled sound), signals etc. operate very, very dimly. The batteries show full charge and the cart performs extremely well. is there a wire that may have been left disconnected to the lights system, a ground possibly or maybe a wire to the step down voltage box (if there is one) to the light system? I think they run on 12 v as opposed to motor which is 48v.
Any help would be much appreciated.
