Re: 2008 club car
I was labeling for your reference....but I had no idea of the sequence anyway so you've taught me something! Ok, so I disconnect the negative terminal from number 4, correct? And to be completely sure, number 4 is under the drivers seat on the left side looking down on the battery pack from the rear seat? By the way, I checked the batteries yesterday morning after an overnight charge and they tested from 12.3 to 12.5. So would some type of controller glitch this?

Re: 2008 club car
yes that's my thought .... yes that's the one to disconnect, i circled it for you ...
batteries seem a little low for full charge... here's a chart on them but i don't think batteries are causing the problem |

Re: 2008 club car
The batteries are early 2009 so they're nearing the end I guess and probably the reason for the charge readings. But they do what I need so I'll ride them until they quit or give me problems. I'll do the reset this afternoon and let you know what happens. Thanks!!

Re: 2008 club car
I thought there was something special about locking that down.......a cinder block worked great. I tried the reset procedure but never heard the reverse buzzer. Repeated the procedure-same result-no buzzer. After restoring the obc, I put the cart in reverse and guess what? No buzzer. I switched both the f/r and ignition switch back and forth several times......could it be one of these?
