That cable is very large, but it is the correct style/spec of cable. Normally we recommend 4g cable for up to 400 amps, and 2g cable for more than 400 amps.

Agree completely with G. That is the correct cable but doubtful that you would ever need to run larger that 2awg on a golf cart. We run 1awg on our drag cart on 1000 amps.

Thanks but bigger is better right? starting an upgrade and who knows I may want to go up to 700 amp and 48 v if thats even possible. I'm a cc noob so. . . And besides this stuff was being sold for 35 for 100' of red and 100' of black and shipping was 30 bucks so did not think it was to bad. . I'll get it next time. . Thanks boys glad I found this site
