Re: Drive: Plum Quick upgrade
Well let me chime in. I am going to do a post on my rebuild but wanted to comment here.
I have a 2008 G29 Drive and I recently did the plum quick bandit swap out. My cart already had speed code 4. Result on stock controller was 18 mph. I just purchases a new 500amp controller from FSIP and also did a 2 gage cable upgrade throughout. Result is now 24 miles per hour. The FSIP controllers has no speed limitation I have a lift kit on order and getting either 22 or 23 inch tires. Expect to hit 27 to 28. I dont see going beyond this because it seems there is almost zero interest in developing for the drive. I even offered to pay PQ to custom build something that gets me above 30mph and got no response..... |

What is the part number of the 500A FSIP controller you used?

http://www.fsip.biz/GolfConversion.html
it the unit at the very bottom of the page. I dont have a specific model number but FSIP needs to know its for use with an after market motor. BTW it was more than $100 cheaper than sourcing it through an online vendor ( you can order direct from fsip) |

Re: Drive: Plum Quick upgrade
before was actually 18. My batteries were very worn so I dont think its a fair representation. However what the PQ did help with was in torque. VERY much improved off the line.
