will 5.3 version out of a 2011precedent obc work with a 2005 presedent ??

It would if the wire would reach. It's gonna be too short to put in a 2005.

The 5.3 is designed to charge 6X8V batteries. Your 2005 has 4X12V batteries. Different charge algorithm. As long as you've got a 3.0 or higher you should be fine.
