We are currently experiencing a monsoon with serious flooding. I will be patient. :-) Should start to clear later today. I have 3 ft of water at the end of the drive.

My record is water in my floor board with my 8" lift and 25"s, you just got to keep the fwd momentum. Steve

It would be near my F-R switch. The rain is slowing.

I adjusted the Current limit all the way clockwise. Leaving the Accel at 1.2 secs and not touching the plugging. I was surprised that the Current was not all the way to 500 amp. The folks at PQ said 500 amp was ok, but I would have to crank down if I got 700 amp.

Thanks all,

M

Well I braved the weather and tried it out with the new 500 amp controller. I was wondering if I had made a good choice. Well I ended up with Current & accel adjustments all the way clockwise as Steve had suggested. It was much better getting up to speed, nice pull. It actually spins the wheels some if you don't ease into the throttle. Not sure about the plug setting, I don't see how it can improve performance and it transition very nicely from forward to reverse so I will leave it alone. I will take GPS with me next time, but the top speed seemed about the same. But definitely not the dog it was getting up to that speed like before.

I absolutely love these controllers. I used the 700 Amp version on the 64 Volt hunting cart I built at work this past fall. It's incredible.
