Default DS body differances

Im not even sure what year the body I have is but the frame is an 88 ( it had the choke hole but I fiberglassed over it and it has the access door ) , when im looking at aftermarket fender flares they say "94 and up".....what would be the differences ?

From 81-93 the bodies were made of a plastic/fiberglass mix, since then they have been made of a material CC calls "Armorflex" which is basically a flexible, crack resistant plastic.
Also, the fiberglass front cowls were shaped a little different than the present (94-up) ones...

Then shouldn't the fender flares fit 81 and up ?

Nope, the Fiberglass bodies had rubbery/plastic flares from the factory that stuck out slightly. The 93 and up Armor Flex bodies have a fender lip molded in that can't really be considered a flare.
