Adding Aux Battery for lights ??
I converted my cart to six 8 volt Trojan batteries and would like to connect the headlights and tail lights to an small 12v battery behind the dash. The cart has Madjax headlight and tail light kit. During the conversion i disconnected the blue wire in the battery box but unsure which wires from the harness I should use to wire the lights straight to an aux battery. Has anyone else tried this? My cart is an 07 Precedent.
Thanks |

Re: Adding Aux Battery for lights ??
how would you charge this battery?
It seems to me that it would mean a second charger and another step or two everytime you go to plug it in. Is it worth the trouble? |

Re: Adding Aux Battery for lights ??
I run an extra battery and no problem at all. I put a small battery tender on the handle of my regular charger and a quick disconnect right above the charger port on the cart . take an extra 2 seconds at time of plug in

Re: Adding Aux Battery for lights ??
I want the new Trojans to be purely for powering the cart. I have the spot for a charger and aux battery but need help sorting the MadJax wiring harness to hook it up properly.
