Angry not getting any spark to plug

Hi guys been about a year since I have been on here- rebuilt my G-1 last year and it ran very good, but parked it for a couple of months and now it is not getting any spark to the plug. What should I check first. I replaced the coils behind the mag when I rebuilt it and also put on a new coil. any help would be appreciatted.

The most common problems are loose/corroded connections and chafed wires. Check the four wires coming off the engine, and the harness especially in the area around the battery.

Spark plug still okay? Ignition coil properly grounded? Spark plug wire okay?

Sorry I haven't got back to you guys- but been busy with the holidays and such. You were right about the broken wire- checked wiring and found black ground wire to coil had broken off. put on a new wire and she runs great now. thanks for the help.HerbB2u.
