Alltrax xct installation
Gday, just installing the alltrax controller in my club car DS IQ 2010 . One question regarding the battery cable which goes through the OBC and is then spliced to another 2 cables at the terminal attached the original controller. Wondering what these cable is for ? One of them has a yellow clip which is just hanging not connected?
Do i just connect them to the alltrax the same way? I’ve tried to attach photo for reference Cheers |

Re: Alltrax xct installation
Yes connect to the Alltrax the same way M- to M- and B- to B- etc.
Mark the cables this way before disconnecting with masking tape and pen or ? |

Re: Alltrax xct installation
Thanks Scotty.
Just to be sure the battery negative gets joined the the addition cable and connected to the controller? Here’s a photo of the terminal I’ve cut. You can see There 3 wires joined at this terminal |

Re: Alltrax xct installation
EVERYTHING that was connected to B- on the old controller (circled in your 1st photo) connects to B- on the new controller.
Why did you cut all the small wires off of the main cable? Are you replacing the cable set? |

Re: Alltrax xct installation
One of those small black wires is for the battery charger and the other is for your accessory common.

Re: Alltrax xct installation
Ok cool, so if I wanted to install a USB phone charger would this be the best option to connect to this accessory common wire? Or is there a better solution
Thanks again |

Re: Alltrax xct installation
For 12v accessories use a DC reducer. Other accessories needed include a fuse panel and ground buss bar if more than one 12v accessory will be connected.
