Default How compatible would a DCS cart be with a newer Series cart?

I'm looking at possibly coming across a late 90s DCS cart that has seen much better days. I have a ton of parts left over from my 2004 Series cart when I completely rebuilt it. I would be installing all the electronics from my series cart (motor, controller, solenoid, F/R switch, wiring, etc), body and possibly some suspension parts. What should I expect to not be compatible between the late 90s DCS and the 2004 Series cart?
