Hopefully last dumb question. After I clean all the connections and I think that it might be the v glide that is bad. Where is the best place to get a new one? Do I have to go to a golf cart repair shop, or is ordering one online ( like on ebay ) just as good?

No question is a dumb question! If you determine you need a v-glide, I would order one from one of the site sponsors here.
