Want to advance timing?

Wanted to advance timing going forward on my '87 2pg cart. Looking at the fan side the engine turns CCW to go forward. If I am thinking correctly I need to move the timing ring CW. Does this sound correct? Just wanting a sanity check.

I think that is correct. It's been a while since I worked on my 2pg. There is a decent amount of adjustment there, but at some point it begins to run kind of bad in reverse, but there are gains to be had.
