Much appreciated. The good news is that my cancer grows at the speed of a government refund check! Yeah, so not real fast!

Anyone have a 1989 marathon 2pg? I need to know a belt # or length.

You sure it's an 89? Got a pic of the engine bay?

I have included a pic of my belt and the engine compartment. Mine is an 87 2pg, and the 88 I think looked the same. I am not sure but in 89 I THINK they turned the engine 90 degrees, and the drive and driven pulleys were also of course.
Hope this helps you
Tom

MANUFACT CODE B0189

Yeah I got it figured out. I have an 89 but it was a transition year and the ones built in the early part of the year had the 88 engine. later on they changed it to the 3pg engine. I have the 88 engine in mine. It has the muffler with the 90 on it and spark plug is behind muffler. It calls for a 45-1/2 belt. I found a 45" belt so I hope I can get that on it. The engine does sit sideways. I know you can not put a 41" belt on one.

Tom,
Is that a recent picture? It looks like your banjo fitting is wide open, and sucking air.

I know that your cart is running good, so maybe you have it plugged internally.

Good eye! Yes I do have it plugged internally, soldered actually. I premix my fuel so pulled the oil pump. Also, I am putting a GM 4 cylinder pickup could there, it will be used with a module to run a tach.

You guys want to laugh. The guy that had the cart before me left the oil pump hooked up and put 40:1 mix in the tank. I got it running and I do not have to worry about bugs awhile.

Here is the belt for your cart
