Default What needs to be done if anything to run 22" tires?

I'm not talking lift or offset rims, but any motor or clutch upgrades?

Like in electric I know you need controllers, cables, reversing contactor, and possibly motor or more batteries, to achieve desirable off road results with more weight and larger tires.

Do you still get up to speed ok? Ay torque issues on hills?

I am wondering the same thing. I'm looking to run 23" tires though.

Speed was not a problem. I don't know the exact top end but it was fast enough. Torque wise it would move 2 big adults and 2 kids with no problems and if you weren't happy you could put a shorter belt on it.

Torque loss with bigger tires is proportionate to the tire size increase.
Stock tires are 18". 22" tires are more than 20% taller than stock. Expect a 20% decrease in torque (power).
