In your thread "vglide help"- the photo shows (using Sergio's diagram for reference) the white wire on post 2, wrong , post 2 should be empty, the white wire goes on post 3 (with one leg of the first resistor). Wired the way you had it and the reverse micro sw engaged brings the reverse resistor (5k ohms) into play resulting in full speed astern. And by the way, Sergio's diagram shows a wire labeled 25, which you're not going to have.

In the tread "soloniod (sic) diodes"-Crash referenced you to the wrong micro switch. You need a 3-prong not a 2-prong because the wires need to be connected to the common (C) and the normally closed (N/C) prongs.

I don't know why you have 7 resistors when you only need 6. Where did you get them and do they match the values given on the diagram Crash posted?

tag50 brings a good point, the original 0-5kΩ VGlide setup from Club Car was an example on how not to implement something.

You really need a wire jumper between posts #2 and #3, which is the 7th resistor ( value).

That will prevent a potential runaway condition on reverse, should the micro-switch be wired wrong (it needs a N.C. switch) or failing in a closed position.

Please ask the shop to wire those 2 posts together to prevent such a dangerous condition from happening again.

what is the part number to just replace the vglide box with a micro switch and all diodes already in place and a jumper in place already?

Tag50's link took me straight to a part # with a big picture at a reputable sponsor's website. But I understand when you're frustrated sometimes taking it to a shop is the best way to get something fixed.
