What type of battery is best for 1998 gas ezgo txt?
My battery died in my 1998 ezgo gas txt. Need advice on what type of battery I should buy. Should I get a marine deep cycle, car battery, or golf cart battery? The battery that died that was in there was a marine deep cycle. Thanks in advance for the advice!

I use Deka batteries (OEM) only because the cables bolt on.

Deep cycle batteries are different than starting batteries, and are not the best choice. A Marine Starting battery might be called for if you do lots of rough trails and off roading. They cost a bit more, but have extra holders for the lead plates because of the pounding they are expected to take in a speed boat. For most, an automotive starting battery works just fine.
