96 club car ds solenoid wont click and cart wont move unless you jump solenoid

Take the small wires off the solenoid. Hook your meter to these wires. Turn key on and press pedal. What voltage do you get this way. Remember wires must not be connected to anything but meter leads.

When you checked the voltage on the small wires on the solenoid where did you place the negative test lead? Pack negative or solenoid negative? The OBC is responsible for sending the negative to the solenoid. Try running a jumper from battery pack negative to the small negative post on the solenoid and see if it runs, if so the OBC will be bad.

It was a bad ob ran a sepwrate ground and it works. Thankyou so much for all the help
