Club car DS 1988 back seat
Hello everyone,
I just recently got a backseat for my club car DS, and when it came today and I got it all opened up, I realized it was for 2000.5 and newer club cars. It came with rear roof supports. Is there any difference between the 1982 –2000.5 and the 2000.5 – present seat? Or can I make it fit? Everything seems to line up fine. The only difference I can find is that it is configured for a single connected backrest for the front seat, even though mine has two separate backrests, being older. But I can make it work... Is there another difference I should know about? The seat is a Steeling seat with a flip cargo bed and grab bar. The instructions seem to imply that it will work for either. look at your top. You may have to drill 4 holes to make it work. As far as the seat I would need to see what you have for a back seat.

Does the BACK of that have a place to bolt the new style one piece seat to?

yea .. the roof bars are different
82~20.5  02.5 up  there is also a flat bar in the old style seat that lets you attach the front 2 seat backs the guys at steeling are a site sponsor give them a call 864-675-1103 and tell them of your boo boo |

Sorry got sidetracked. The yellow one is old style DS. The black one is old style DS with new style rear support and old style roof.
