Default 2013 Drive Battery cable question

I just picked up a 2013 Drive, and was installing the new LED light kit. I pulled the battery cables from the battery posts to connect the light kit. When I put the cables back on I couldn't get the cables tight enough so they wouldn't move on the battery. I ordered new cables, but was wondering, are all 12 volt battery posts the same diameter? I jammed a crimp terminal in between the clamp and the post's to get them tight.

Thanks,
