Exclamation Yamaha g14 gasser axle problem

The cart runs fine but the wheels will not turn I thought the axle bearings were toast so I jacked it up and took it apart and they are shot but if you hold the axle in place and hit the gas you can hold the axle from turning my question is are there bigger problems it feels like the axle hardly wants to spin at high rpms any help would be great thank you

Yes you should be able to hold one axle with out it turning. But not both . If you hold one, the other one should turn

Would you suggest to replace the bearing and see how that works

At least to open and have a look; I had to replace the bearings on my G15.
