Default Club Car XRT (06) Charging Issue

Hi all, thanks for the help ahead of time. It is a 48v.

I have a club car XRT with the old crappy OBC in the charging scheme. I bought it with dead batteries and put new batteries in it yesterday. It runs great; however, after trying to charge it today I get no relay click and charging. I have 50.4V pack voltage, but only 37V at the receptacle. I have tried unhooking the pack negative to reset the obc to no avail. I have checked the fuse in the charging circuit and it is fine. I also checked the fuse on the negative terminal of the receptacle and it is also fine.

Does anyone have any ideas about what is going on or what logic is within the OBC I could be missing? All of the leads are made up hard to the OBC so I’m kind of out of options aside from buying a new charger and bypassing the OBC all together.

That voltage is correct (36-42) as your are reading the voltage after the SCR of the OBC.

You need to run a jumper wire from the back of the charge receptacle to the MPN post and see if it cuts on then. If not, run the grey sense wire there too. The changer will need to see both of these to operate. If it does not cut on then, the problem is in the charger circuitry.
