G2/g9 engine swap
I have a g9 that the engine is in bad shape. I have a g2 engine that’s just needs a little tlc. What would I have to do to use the g2 engine in my g9? Or would it jus drop in and hook right up and run? Thanks for the help

Re: G2/g9 engine swap
I'm not 100% positive, but I think it's an identical twin. Should be a J38 285cc.

Re: G2/g9 engine swap
Should be plug & play. Except that the G2 motor has an oil level sensor & the G9 doesnt.

Thanks for the help fellas. I thought it would be a drop in but just wanted to get a little more confirmation from some more experienced people. Thanks
