First oil change on G16

I need to do my first oil change on my G16. What is everyone using for oil and where is the best place to get the filter? Any tips or is it easy as i expect it to be? I will be operating this in colder temps as well.

The G 16 is a splash oiled engine so there isn't a filter. In my G 14 I used a synoil 10-30 plus ZDDP maxx Zinc additive for more protection.
