Default '97 TXT how to remove front tie rods

Like the title says, I'm trying to remove the front tie rods to finish my lift kit install, and can't seem to figure it out.

I removed the cotter pin, and castle nut, but I can't seem to get the rest off. Anyone have a picture to look at, or instructions?

Thanks.

You need a big hammer and a tie rod seperator.. looks like a 2 prong fork.. you can borrow one from your local auto parts store..

You can also heat the arm with a small torch and tap it with a hammer

this works better for me and it doesn't mess up the rubber boot.

That's exactly what I bought at NAPA auto parts for $12.00. It worked VERY nicely.

Got my lift kit finished today.

Looks like the 10" Pheonix Machined version with the Rhox Mojave II. How does it ride, any wobble or bounce? Are those the 20" or the 22"?
