Angry 2000 Club Car DS SLOW......

So at this point I am Pretty stumped....Please help. I have a 2000 Club Car 48Volt Regen 2 car. It was fine stock running 10-12MPH. I bought a Alltrax DCX500 amp controller and installed it with the #6 cables and stock Solenoid. I was getting aroung 16-18 MPH. So the addiction kicked in and I needed more, today I installed #2 welding cable to all batteries, motor and controller and replaced the stock solenoid with a 400amp / 1000amp solenoid. I just got everything done and went for a test drive. back down to about 14MPH.

I figured it out on my own after scratching the noggin' a bit. The V-glide was not swiping all the way to the last contact to get full power. The previous owner apparently hit something on the Pedal assembly that knocked it out of adjustment.

True. But it's not quite the 20mph I was hoping for by dropping all the cash for a controller solenoid an #2 wires.
