Re: What is this part?
OK y David,
Thanks very much, you are awesome on this forum. One thing, can I just hook up those lights to the 8 volt # 1 battery and it will only get 8 volts? Funny but I just do not know where the ground is for these lights. |

Re: What is this part?
I could be wrong but I think the ground wire is in the bucket harness and is connected to the controller. David will have to confirm this.

Re: What is this part?
As David said we don't know which converter you have but if I took a guess I would say the circuit breaker would be wired in line on the positive wire of your reducer for the power feed for your lights and the reducer would be grounded back to the battery pack. Do you have a ground in and ground out on your reducer?

Re: What is this part?
Erict, I have a ground and positive with my reducer. It is 48 to 12. It has both blcak and red wires for input and output.
I know how to hook up to my batteries. You think this would be right, + from reducer to light fuse, negative to b- on controller? |

Re: What is this part?
Yes, pos from reducer to circuit breaker, then breaker out to lights. You can run the ground to either the B- like it was originally or back to the ground on your battery pack. Ground is ground.

Re: What is this part?
Erict got it handled for ya... good deal. And yes, the pigtail on the bucket harness ties into B- on the controller.

Re: What is this part?
I know you switched to 8v but here is a wire diagram. You can see the ground wire from battery #4 to the controller B-.
