That sticker is misleading. Here is how it's hooked up.

Red goes to you Positive 48v battery post.
Black goes to the 48v negative post.
Green is your 12v output and you should install a fuse or even better a fuse block so you can easily fuse different accessories separately with appropriate fuses.
Yellow either goes to the positive 48v post, same as the red wire, but the converter will be on all the time. Or to your ignition switch positive side that is turned on with the key or an appropriate toggle switch to turn it on/off.

Remember to ground nothing to the frame of the cart.

Here is an example of a fuse block. This way you can fuse different accessories with the correct fuses and have a central spot for you positive and negative accessory wires.

Where would you locate the converter and the fuse block? I read somewhere that the converter should be mounted to metal due the heat they produce.

Not sure what cart you have or the size of the converter. Some mount them in the bucket harness area or behind/underneath the front cowl. As far as heat, you will have to see how bad it is as there are so many converters out there and some give no heat, little heat and alot of heat. Hook it up and before finding a location I would run your accessories for a while and see how hot it gets. Thats why it's nice to wire it up so it's switched, that way you can turn it "on" only when needed and off when you not around.

I was wondering how your converter install turned out. I am just starting to order parts to add electronics to my cart. I was interested in the reducer you bought because it seems like a great price. But was also concerned since it is a lot less expensive then most. Any advice or reviews of that converter would be appreciated. Thanks
