Gift Horse
I was just gifted an electric EZGO golf cart SN 480132 which I believe is a 1988 Marathon. It's a bit rough but the tires hold air and the batteries, I assume are shot. Before investing in 6 new batteries, what should I do to check out the cart to make sure that I'm not feeding hay to a dead horse?

Re: Gift Horse
You can use 3/12v batteries for testing on jack stands... this way you can familiarize yourself with the workings of the cart and see if it runs.
Here is the working diagram of the cart.... yours may vary slightly, but try to apply theory as much as diagram interpretation. |
