Squeaky Auscos
Does anyone else's Ausco's squeak when breaking? Have you figured how to not make them squeak?

Re: Squeaky Auscos
Yikes ! This is not what I want to hear. I have a set of ausco's in the box awaiting installation and one of the reasons I got them was to eliminate the squeaking stock brakes. I'll be interested in responses to this.

I have had Ausco's on my lifted 2007 txt for 10 months. They sqealed like a pig for a long time. I checked and adjusted many times, too no avail. It took time and use for them to stop. I have front Jakes hydraulics that dragged at first, my golf cart guy put small springs to keep the pads back while not interefering with the operation. I sprayed the springs to help the rust. A little WD got on pads and stopped the squeal by mistake. I don't recommend it but the mistake worked. When the rotors get a little surface rust, they squeak a little then stop. You can buy brake squeal stop at Napa for the back of the pads only, I think because they have some play it might just be inherent. Be patient it will get better after they seat in. Kind of like ATV tires, it takes awhile to groove them in.

Re: Squeaky Auscos
I have had Ausco brakes on my lifted cart for two years, they squeaked until I lubricated the slides with some dry moly, now they work great. The Ausco factory is close by so I stopped in and they told me to check adjustment and lubricate the slides when I first installed them.

Re: Squeaky Auscos
You could try sanding them in a figure 8 pattern if the oridgnal surface has a circular pattern.
