93 marathon wont move when pedal is pressed all the way .
just got a 93 ezgo marathon elec. if you slightly press the gas pedal the cart will take right off but if you press it all the way nothing happens. everything works great in reverse. any clue what the problem might be?

Bad/dirty throttle potentiometer. If controller sees more than about 7.5K, it shuts down.
Remove the small black and white wire (Push-on connectors) from the top of the controller and connect an Ohmmeter between the wires. You should get zero Ohms (or fairly close to zero) with pedal up and about 5k Ohms with pedal down. |

Thanks for the help! I got pot..meter ordered today . Hopefully it will bein soon and will fix the problem. Again thanks and I will keep you updated.

Pot meter came in today. Put it on and everything works prefect. Thanks!
