Default Controller resistor

I was riding the cart today to break in the batteries. I hit a bump and the cart died. I checked all the connections everything was good no click on solenoid so I went and got a new stock solenoid that's all they had then I changed it out I noticed that the resistor had some burnt marks but I didn't know what a resistor was at that time I put it all back together and it ran for a few mins then quit again please tell me that this is my problem

Here is a schematic for a DCS with the solenoid activation circuit highlighted.

With Run/Tow in Run. Keyswitch On and F/R in F, you should have B+ (Battery pack voltage) on Pins 6, 7, 9 and 10 at the controller.

When the pedal is pushed, Pin 5 will also have B+ and Pin-7 should go to -0-

If you are getting those voltages and the solenoid isn't clicking, the controller is bad.

Note: If the solenoid coil is intact. Pin-7 will have B+ on it prior to the pedal being pushed. When the pedal is pushed, the controller applies B- to Pin-7 to energize the solenoid, so the voltage reading goes to zero.
