Default Run Tow Switch

trying to put a new hi output solenoid on my ezgo and need some help with the wiring. Where does the run/tow switch wires from the harness go to? Do they go to one of the small terminals or one of the large ones. Thanks

Not to the solenoid...It is called logic supply - see diagram below.

When asking questions, it is best to identify the cart's Year, Body style and Drive type so we are all on the same page.

If you have a DCS rather than a PDS, there is a red wire from the Run/Tow switch that does connect to the Battery side large terminal of the solenoid.

That would make it a 96 TXT DCS.

This might be the schematic for it rather than the one I posted above.
The difference is in the F/R switch

The RUN/TOW switch is a simple double pole inline on/off switch. All the wires connected to it are the same polarity. This switch interrupts the power supply. You do need to get both of the supply wires on one side and the feed wires on the other though or you will be turning one on and the other off with each flip of the switch instead of both on and both off . I hope this helps.

Switches aren't polarized, but all switched control voltages in a golf cart are positive.

To tell you what wire goes where, we need know which drive system is in cart.
