How come the batteries show no drop under load?
Also get a reading that includes 10ths of a volt like 7.13 so we can see the difference to 7.05

May drop 1/2 volt really can't tell with my AMM from radio shack but when at full speed it is easily 7volts. Do you think my motor could be carboned up? Guess I will try that next.

You may need to borrow a better meter, these these require a tighter (more detailed) reading.
