Re: di it urself paint?
I painted our cart with interior latex metallic we had leftover from our remodel. Used a cheap Harbor Freight HVLP gun on my pancake compressor, worked like a charm and the paint has held up well for several years.

Re: do it urself paint?
Hey i just got done with my cart, don't go cheap on the paint. cause it is way to much work to have to do it over a year from now. i used DuPont Urethane single stage paint. The Urethane is the key, cause when you use the paint with the thinner and hardener and mix it like is says. you will have rock solid paint job. also need to use the same brand urethane primer with the hardener. i pulled the body off to make it easier. first clean body sand with 320. I used a half gallon of primer, don't be afraid put it on thick. once that drys block sand with 400 and prime again. let dry. then block sand again with 600 and lay the paint to it. I used a gallon of paint. let dry about 3 days cause you don't want the paint to dry to hard yet. last cut with 1500 and buff it to a beautiful shine. here is my cart.

Re: do it urself paint?
If your re referring to me. I used a bascoat I personally mixed and I just over reduced it and upped the air pressure on the gun.
