Re: trouble with headlights
this may sound silly....but after you installed them, certainly you ensure they worked then?

Re: trouble with headlights
Are there any plugs in the wiring that may have pulled loose?

Re: trouble with headlights
try putting a tester from the negative lead on your power source to the positive terminal at the light bulb with the headlight switch on of course. you should have 12 volts of power if it is a 12 volt system. now do the same with the positive of your power source and the negative of the light bulb socket. you should have power. whichever circuit does not have power is the wire that you need to trace back to see where it is broken. don't forget to check continuity across the light bulbs

Re: trouble with headlights
i feel like i have checked it all over a few times, but all the wiring is in harnesses so its hard to see if any wires have broken or maybe burned loose

Re: trouble with headlights
Check the voltages as described, you may have hooked them to the wrong battery posts and "over-volted" them, causing them to burn out quickly. Also, NO frame grounds on electric carts! With a 6-8v cart, you can get away with running them on 2 batteries (16v will be bright, and reduce their life, but will work), but 24v or more will kill the bulbs quickly.
