Unfortunately, no. I took it apart to double check. See Pic. I appreciate your thought on that.

Would not shock me at all to find out ezgo was getting switches made that were 3 position and just use a 2 position back.

Since I am a noob here, I want to make sure I understand the 3 position switching.
1. Key in off position at 12 o'clock (48v to one terminal)
2. Turn clockwise to the 1 o'clock position (48v across both terminals)
3. Turn clockwise again to the 2 o'clock position (48v across both terminals, no change)

So with all of that said, seems to me regardless of how many positions the key stops in, if the 2 terminals work as they do, I have a 2 position switch functionality. Correct?

Could just be a funky key switch. My 3 pos has 12, 1:30 and 3. So at this point you have about 30 solutions

Think I am just going to keep it simple for now. Leave the key switch as is, and install a reducer. I found out that my lights and turn signals are 12/48v. And just currently wired as 48v. So once I wire my reducer to my switch, I will just move the light kit from my 48v pack, to the 12v output on the reducer. Seems simple enough to me. Really hope that it is that straight forward.

Should be as long as you get the reducer with the trigger wire.

I did get my 48v to 12v 30amp reducer installed and moved a lot of my accessories to it. I also bought another 10amp reducer for my radio memory. Everything is working like it should. It did come with a backup camera. Not really in the need for it on a golf cart, but what the heck. Seems simple enough.

It went pretty well wiring it up, except for one issue. I thought a good source to engage the reverse, to trigger the camera, would be to disconnect that annoying 48v backup alarm. So I wired it to that 10amp, 12v reducer. But I'm only getting a fluctuating 6v output. Take it back off the reducer and back to 12v output.

So, my question is, why would that backup alarm 48v power source not reduce to 12v on that reducer? It works for my radio 12v memory source.

I have a 2015 48 V TXT Fleet cart. I am being told by the dealer that, since it is a fleet cart, the controller cannot be programmed to go faster. Any way this is correct?

Not true, but do not let a dealer use a Passkey on that cart. You'll be wasting your money for that to be done. It is not required to speed it up. Make a few more posts, create your own thread, and you can get help.
