Default Where to start upgrading 2020 Ezgo 72 volt

New to BGW

Just bought a brand new 72 volt ezgo and a little let down by the speed. Like to get it faster. Also the dash is a little different than the last few years. Seems as if the switches are in one little panel. I would like to add the dash that has the speakers in the corners. Anyone ran into this?

First step is to speed it up. DO NOT ask any dealer to do this, as they will corrupt your controller. The way that they have been doing it causes an internal clash in the controller software that eventually burns out controller hardware! Once burned out, it is not repairable! A new controller will have to be purchased, because it is not covered by warranty when the dealer does this. In fact, they would lose their dealership if E-Z-GO found out what they are doing and how they are doing it!

Where are you located?

I added a glove box to mine and rather than going the route of swapping out the dash, settled for a Ultimate Ears Boom 3 bluetooth speaker. It fits in the cup holders and then I can throw it into the glove box if I park somewhere. It's plenty loud for me, but I rarely listen to loud music anymore.
