Re: #90 Main Jet Drill Size
The only way to know that is to find out from EZ go, if they could even tell you. Or as Treestump said, get some pin gauges and start measuring.......

Re: #90 Main Jet Drill Size
No problem thewskrs. I love to google b/c there's no tellin what's out there until you start peckin' on that keyboard... I know I worked on my 295/350 jet for a couple of evenings til' I go the jet corrected. I was risking oversizing, but moderation and gauging the bore saved the jet. That being said, I bet this setup could get me better performance and better response without all that studying and work!!!! Glad you liked it!

Re: #90 Main Jet Drill Size
Wouldn't all this nonsense just go away if someone would find/adapt/build a old style float bowl nut with the adjuster needle in it?
Step 1. Install monster jet Step 2. Reinstall float bowl, gasket, and adjustable needle. Step 3. Set screw for initial adjustment of 1 3/4 turns from closed. Step 4. Run and adjust for any altitude, heat, modifications, fuel type, etc. |

Re: #90 Main Jet Drill Size
A question for Treestump......
When you did the head mill, I'm sure you considered the valve timing getting retarded some. Was the difference negligible or did you compensate somehow? Quote:
If it's leaned out enough to do damage, it probably runs weak too. Not much incentive to leave it that way. Anyway.... a d/a can do just as much damage playing around with jets as they can with a high speed mixture adjustment. The adjustable just makes it easier. |
