I'm pulling the bolt on Saturday. I'll let you know if diff fluid comes pouring out or not.

I pulled the bolt this morning and as many have said, no oil came pouring out. Now, there was oil in the bolt hole, however, it does seem like it is leaking from where the diff/motor meet, and getting in from the back. Here's a close up of that area, with what I believe is the leak highlighted and where the oil is coming down:



The black washer that I had through was plastic is just a black lock washer.

With that said, I don't think there's a gasket here, but maybe a seal that could be leaking?

Could be the input shaft seal or might be too much fluid in the transaxle.

I'm leaning towards input shaft seal myself. I can't find a parts diagram or any info on the seal, though.
