ICON 2022 Software

pcs - here are the changes I made which really tamed my Icon:

05 Paddle - 
  05.01.03 "Throttle Max"     to 4.65
  05.01.05 "Throttle Map 1/4" to 25
  05.01.06 "Throttle Map 1/2" to 50
06 Speed Mode - 
  06.02.06 "Fwd Acc Partial"  to 30
  ( Higher number = slower accel rate when throttle is partially pressed )

NOTE: I've sold my Icon, so I can't really get much more detail beyond the above notes I took. There are other threads which go through these changes ( I pulled from those ).

I successfully made the cable for the 2022 Icon I40 2+2. My 05 paddle values were already set at your suggested values. I did change the 06.02.06 from 6 to 25. This now gives my elderly parents a golf cart they can manage without whiplash! I did experiment with some values and noted that with a value of 15 it took approx. 13 seconds to get to the programmed max of 26 mph. With the updated value of 25, it now takes about 25-30 seconds to reach max. I wish I had timed the acceleration when the original value was 6! I wouldn't be surprised if it was below 6-7 seconds to reach 26 mph.

I was able to download the software but I'm on a Mac and I can't seem to find any programs that can open it. Do I need a PC to program my 2023 ICON i40L? Any help is appreciated. I'm looking to tame down the throttle because the 5mph park speed limit is nearly impossible to maintain with factory throttle settings.

If you have an older Intel based Mac you can use your MacBook to program it. You just need to run a Windows VM or boot into windows directly.
