Columbia Par Car Pro Street Edition
I have a 2003 Columbia Par Car Pro Street Edition Golf Cart. It has the gear shift (back forward) on the dash (not the front of the seat as most carts have). Is there a neutral position halfway between back/forward. We recently put the gear shift halfway between back/forword and pulled the cart back home due to battery not working. It did not seem to damage anything. Also, we had the alternator checked by a dealer and it was working as it should. The battery checked out OK, but a box store gave me a new one anyway. It works fine now. What could have caused the battery to not be charged - loose or corroded connection, short somewhere in system, ? Last, it has a hand brake on the floorboard. The brake pedal does not have a separate pedal on the top of the brake pedal to push to hold the cart on an incline. It is inconvenient to always have to pull the hand brake on inclines. Can this be changed to utilize the regular brake pedal to hold the golf cart on inclines? Thanks for any help I can get for this rather rare golf cart.
