Thanks. Yes, it turned out pretty good. That is the standard on-board Allied 15a lithium charger.

Sorry, man. Just saw you replied with a question.

For my YDRE, yes, I just disconnected the original charge port and connected the onboard charger directly to the battery. + to + and - to -.

I think increasing all wiring to #2 made a big difference as well.

I picked up this crimp set:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MVE48Z6...roduct_details

And I got this wire set:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M35SPAU...t_details&th=1

The crimpers worked great and made making the cables a snap.

I would like to get details on how to reconnect the original 3rd wire on the charge port to my controller to prevent the cart from moving while charging.

Thanks for the reply, I contacted Total lithium and they were nice enough to send out a universal pigtail hopefully get it today or tomorrow. I had already upgraded cables to 2ga. So I'm good there.

Its been several days unplugged, and it's still sitting at 100% charge. Pretty awesome.

Completed my install yesterday of the 105ah. Let it charge overnight. Charge was 100% this morning and charger was off. Took it for a quick spin this afternoon about 2miles. Used 7% of the battery. Not sure what to think about that.

If you figure on getting 40 miles out of a 100% charge, then 7% would be 2.8 miles. Not sure how linearly the percentage drops though.

Yeah been doing the math in my head. Can these batteries be ran down to let’s say 10 or 20% without any worries?

Not a battery expert, but I am pretty sure lead acid should not be discharged below 50% and LiPo 20%. You can probably go under 20% but that's just what the Allied site said.

You also have to factor in your bigger tires, lift, etc. regarding the discharge rate on your cart/battery combo.

First off, most SOC meters are not that accurate - especially on the first few charge cycles. Yes - you can run Lithium down to 20% or even lower but it will die unexpectedly on you so you need to be aware of that. The BMS will prevent you from damaging the cells by shutting the battery down when it hits minimum allowed voltage on any one cell. You need to experiment to see what range you will get with your particular setup.

Untill you run the battery completely down to say 20% and then recharge, the soc meter will not be all that accurate as volt mentioned.

Also yeah, huge difference in amps consumed on a stock 18" wheel cart vs a lifted cart struggling harder to keep the 22s or 23" tires rolling. I only have 20" street tread tires on my cart and I pull 130 amps in my driveway on takeoff and can pull 40 amps continuous at WOT down my street...that would mean my 90ah batteries would be dead in about 2 hours of wot.. (about 40 miles in this scenerio but unlikely to ever happen as terrain and stop and go situations change all this dramatically)

Keep in mind the market folks almost always use best case scenerio for advertising range... (stock car, flat ground with no acceleration usage)
