2016 RXV Eco battery swap; non running
I'm trying to do an ECO battery swap on a 2016 RXV and I can't get the cart to move. I have a solenoid engagement but I disconnected the original BDI wires from the original indicator because ECO has their own indicator so the wires are not connected to anything...could this be why they cart isn't moving?? Any input would be appreciated. This has the Curtis controller btw

Did you connect the charger interlock wire to +48V??? It won't run unless that wire is connected to 48V. It's the third wire that went to the charging plug on the cart.

I hooked power before I added that and it was completely dead in the water and then I did hook that and that’s what allowed it to engage the solenoid. It’s still non running after that add though

I have a question…are the Navitas SX controls for the RXV as temperamental as this stock Curtis? I thinking about doing the swap and saying to hell with all this nonsense if it doesn’t need to go through all the checks as the Curtis does

For an RXV, you'll need the Navitas TAC 2 AC controller, the SX seems to be DC With the TAC 2, the cart is awesome powerful and fast as you like it.

That’s what I figured…never ceases to amaze me how ridiculous the stock rxv setups are [emoji849]

Re: 2016 RXV Eco battery swap; non running
I have done the ECO pack on a buddy's RXV. Only thing I had to do was connect the charger interlock wire to battery positive. IT won't run without that wire connected. The most difficult part of the install was installing the meter because I had to figure out how to take the dash apart. ( and run the wire under the floor mat )
