forward in reverse
ezgo with the switch under the leg with 2 microswitches. cart sat for a couple of years, owner said reverse worked when parked. put batteries in and now it goes forward in reverse. forward seems to work fine.

It is a DCS cart. You either have a bad reverse micro, or a bad controller. The micro switches on a DCS cart are different for forward and for reverse...

i tested both micros and the both seemed good used ohm meter. this cart has a plastic body was a course cart. haven't looked under it, was sitting in an irrigated lot with flat tires for a couple of years. don't know what dcs means

You may be investing in a new controller then. Just make double sure your micros are good, first
 No need to buy a controller unless you have to... |

Yes, that's it. The DCS cart is one of the few carts where the controller "knows" if it is in forward or reverse. If it's not a solenoid, then the controller is bad...
