2001 Club Car DS Torque NEED!!!!!
I just bought a 2001 48v refurbished Clubcar DS it has a high speed motor 5.5hp I believe. It goes 25+ but going up hills at all it slows down significantly. It has 12" tires and is for the road not going off road or anything. I think I need more torque. Anything I can Do????

Upgrade the controller to a higher amperage one for more torque. Upgrading the cables, solenoid, and F/R switch will help also.
