Key switch continuously energized
Key switch constantly energized. Removed switch and cart still wants to run in both forward and reverse.
Also notice cart creeps forward without depressing accelerator |

Re: Key switch continuously energized
Sounds like a micro switch stuck, but without some details (year, model type, etc.) we have no way of telling.
Here is a similar issue with an '83 model resistor cart. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ey-switch.html |

Re: Key switch continuously energized
If it is a resistor cart, sounds like a welded solenoid like nole said, depends on what kinda cart you have?

Re: Key switch continuously energized
You know, I see the ineffective key switch problem brought up a lot in this forum. I have the problem myself on a 2003 CC DS. The problem is so common that many of the cases must share a common cause. Suggestions and speculation aside (nothing wrong with suggestions and speculation; that's why we come here), I have never found a solution described and documented as being effective. Am I missing something?
